I can feel a million little hearts breaking at the news that George Clooney is now officially married and off the market, or maybe that is just my own little heart. Either way, the good news is that he married the world’s next style icon… move over Kimmy K!
Amal Alamuddin is not only gorgeous, well-educated, and intelligent; she is also the most stylish woman (in my opinion) in the world right now! I know… big call.
This past weekend, in Italy, Amal has killed it with her choice of outfits. For the record, I want everything. I have even made several enquiries into my most favourite, only to be told that it is either sold out or well and truly out of my price range. I should have guessed! It had the makings of a perfect fairy-tale wedding, a beautiful Italian location, a handsome groom, celebrity guest list, super stylish bride and an outstanding $13 million price tag. Not too shabby.
I knew when she arrived in a black and white Dolce and Gabbana midi dress (for the record, it is now sold out but if someone comes across one PLEASE EMAIL ME) complete with gold drop earrings and hat box that she was going to be bringing it this weekend. In the words of Rachel Zoe, I DIE!
Then there was the Alexander McQueen red dress that she wore to the ‘night before’ celebrations with the ladies.
The next day she appeared in (my favourite outfit), an amazing lace and applique dress by Giambattista Valli. Enquiries were made and believe me; you DO NOT want to know the price. Absolutely incredible.
And as if the last 4 outfits weren’t enough – It was almost a case of what she wore on her Wedding day didn’t seem that important, but she wowed in a gorgeous off the shoulder lace (French of course) dress, hand stitched with pearls and crystals by Oscar de la Renta. (Womans day will have the full pictures and story next week) – she somehow topped it with a Stella McCartney suit with matching hat that she wore to her civil ceremony. Amal, you certainly did bring it.
I cannot wait to see what Amal has lined up for the rest of her days as the new Mrs Clooney.
George, you did good.
