I am a little bit crazed when it comes to home-wares… I love changing up our bits and pieces… a new cushion here, a new vase there (again, apologies to my ever patient husband) and they say that change is as good as a holiday, so I think of it as a ‘freshen’ up for both me and the house! I love it when gorgeous things don’t cost a fortune (and believe me they don’t always have to) – A beautiful bunch of fresh flowers can lift a room (and your spirits) and it doesn’t need to break the bank.
I love home decorating…and I am always looking for inexpensive ways to improve our home. My latest purchases were 16 black frames from Ikea which I mounted on a wall in my dining area with pictures of my family in black and white (I printed the photographs at home on my printer so the only cost were the frames and some photo paper). It is my favourite wall in the house and everyone who comes to visit spends time looking at them.
If you have a spare wall and some extra photographs that you are not sure what to do with, try this at home with one of your walls… its affordable and striking and a lovely way to display your family photographs.
